Ecovias, located in São Paulo, Brazil, is one of the leading private concessionaires working with Avery Dennison Reflective Solutions. They are the biggest country road operator managing 4,000km across eight states. They invest in socio-environmental projects that contribute to road safety and the development of communications along the roads they manage.
The Anchieta-Imigrantes System (SAI) is the primary connection between the metropolitan region of São Paulo and the Port of Santos – the largest in Latin America –, the Petrochemical Complex of Cubatão, the industries of ABCD, and Baixada Santista. The concessionaire is responsible for operating and maintaining the 176.8 km long road system and providing services to the approximately 40 million vehicles circulating annually through the SAI.
Several years ago, they outsourced all vertical traffic sign production. However, as demand grew and deadlines were extremely short, they decided to create their own Vertical Sign Center. For three years, they worked with Avery Dennison on a project to implement their vertical signage center. To meet their production needs, they selected the TrafficJet™ Xpert and joined the 600+ members of the TrafficJet community. Avery Dennison provided the team with the tools and training to digitally print their signs. Today the Ecovias team is capable of producing all of their vertical signage.
