Avery Dennison Introduces Certified Digital Traffic Converter™ (CDTC) Program to Complement TrafficJet™ Print System Offering

Certification allows traffic sign converters using TrafficJet Print System to reinforce customer confidence with specification-compliant, warranted signs

Niles, IL - April 4, 2017 Avery Dennison today announced a Certified Digital Traffic Converter (CDTC) program for traffic sign converters using the Avery Dennison TrafficJet Print System. This CDTC designation provides converters access to technical, marketing, and regulatory tools to provide the highest level of service to traffic sign customers, and ensures that customers are working with experts capable of producing compliant, durable, warranted traffic signs.

"Avery Dennison is proud to introduce the Certified Digital Traffic Converter Network because it is a win-win for both traffic sign converters using the TrafficJet digital print system and the government agencies purchasing traffic signs from them," said Moe Madar, Avery Dennison North American Regulatory Affairs Manager, Reflective Solutions.

He continued, "By working with a traffic sign converter that is CDTC-certified, government agencies are assured the digitally printed signs they purchase are fabricated by expert, trained operators that create specification-compliant signs with the highest performance and exceed safety standards."

CDTC membership requires adherence to strict quality standards, and certified digital traffic converters must own a TrafficJet digital print system professionally installed by a certified Avery Dennison technician. In addition, operators must receive proper training and maintain machine settings capable of producing specification-compliant and warranted traffic signs. As part of the certification process, converters submit verification print samples evaluated for retroreflectivity, color and overall appearance, and are issued a valid Certification of Conformance and documentation upon approval that they may share with customers to demonstrate their expertise. There is no charge for TrafficJet owners for the first year and an annual, re-certification audit can be included at no additional cost as part of an extended warranty service plan or provide minimal charge.
